Jalandhar, August 3, 2016: To provide a platform to the students to exhibit their dramatic skills and infuse a sense of healthy competition among students, an Inter House Play competition was organised in Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari on August 3. Various plays were put up by the different houses which enthralled the audience immensely.
In this competition, different houses showcased their talent. Cedar house presented the play which exhibited moral values of making life worthwhile by always aiming high in life. Where as, Maple house’s play depicted the transformation of human soul from beast to a man facing certain circumstances. Oak house highlighted the impact of excessive usage of mobiles. And at last, Pine house showcased tragic comedy play which embodies a bitter comment on the failure of various state agencies to protect the life of humans. The energetic performances and thought provoking issues left everyone spellbound in a reflective mood. The presentations were thoroughly enjoyed by the students and the resonance of their applause motivated the performers immensely.
On this occasion, Chairman Mr Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Mr Deepak Bhatia, Executive Director LWES Mr J.K Kohli, CEO LWES Dr. Brijesh, Director LWES Mr. Nitin Kholi, Chief Education Officer LWES Ms. Deepa Dogra, Directors of Education LWES Ms. Kiranjot Dhillon, Ms. Meenu Huria, Ms Preeti Sharma, Mr Manoj Kumar Agnihotri and Principal CIS Mr Stanley congratulated Pine and Oak house that shared the first position and Maple house that grabbed the second position and advised them to keep performing such acts to the best of their capacity and capability. Yuvraj Gagneja and Japneet Purba showcased their inherent talents and won the title of the Best Actor and Actress. The participants of the other houses were also encouraged with words of appreciation given by the judges Ms. Roopinder, Ms Gurpreet and Ms Bharti.
The event was a great success.
