HMV organised 3-day Android Training Workshop

Jalandhar, February 12, 2016: Drishti Technology Centre of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a three day Android Training Workshop for the visually impaired students of the region in collaboration with Saksham Punjab. Mr. Sunil and Mr. Pardeep, Implementation Officers from Saksham Delhi are the resource persons. More than 30 students are being imparted training in this workshop. Officiating Principal Mrs. Renuka Bhatti inaugurated the workshop. She said that this initiative of Drishti Centre will prove beneficial for the visually impaired students. Coordinator of the workshop Dr. Prem Sagar told that alongwith training, devices are being distributed to these students at subsidized rates. This will enable visually impaired students to use touch screen phones. On this occasion, Incharge Dr. Ashmeen Kaur and General Secretary Saksham Mrs. Deepika Sood were also present.
