Jalandhar, December 13, 2015: National Energy Conversation Day is celebrated every year in India to make people aware about the importance of energy, saving of energy, conserving and using less energy.
Cambridge International School celebrated Energy Conservation Day on December 12, in the school premises. The mega event Energy Forum was hosted by Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari. This event was an excellent platform where students explored their latent talents and competed in a healthy atmosphere.
The participating teams were from Cambridge International School for Girls Jalandhar, Cambridge International Foundation School Jalandhar, Cambridge International School Phagwara, Cambridge International School Nawanshahar and Cambridge International School Kapurthala.
Various events were held with the aim Urja Hai Anmol , Hamare Desh Ka Hai Bol.
Grade 4 and 5 students participated in an exciting and Creative Role Play. The students of Grade 6, 7 and 8 participated in Fabric Painting Competition titled ‘Painting With a Purpose’. The students of Grade 9 and 10 exhibited their wit in Extempore Competition whereas students of Grade 11 and 12 impressed the audience with their Powerpoint Presentations.The events were judged by various expert and esteemed judges namely Dr P.K Singh (Eye Surgeon), Dr Archna Saini and Ms Swati Chawla (KMV Science faculty) and Dr . Ms Harveen Kaur.
It was a very tough competition and judges had a very difficult time finalizing the winners.

On this occasion, Chairman of the school Mr. Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Mr. Deepak Bhatia ,Chairman Learning Wings Mr. J.K Kohli, Dr Brijesh, Mr. Nitin Kohli, Academic Director Ms Deepa Dogra and Principal mam Ms. Kiranjoth Dhillon appreciated the students for such whole- hearted involvement in the competition . They advised them to keep putting in effort regularly so that they can excel in all the events to come. They also extended their congratulations to the Science Department of Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari for the hard work put in by them in making this event a grand success.
