Innocent Hearts 3-day “Sports Camp” concludes, Awards for winners
Green Model Town gets overall trophy Jalandhar, July 6, 2018: The Three Day Sports Camp being conducted at Innocent Hearts Loharan concluded successfully today with the winning teams and best players being awarded certificates and prizes. The Overall Trophy was awarded to GMT. On the last day the final matches of Cricket, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Chess, Table Tennis and Karate in the U-14, U-17 and U-19 categories were played. The winning teams in various categories were as under: Cricket- U-14 – GMT, U-17 – Loharan, U-19 – GMT; Basket Ball- U-14 – Loharan, U-17 and U-19 – GMT. In Volley ball a clean sweep by Loharan in the U-14, U-17 and U-19 categories. In Chess the champions were – U-14 – Paras (GMT), U-17 – Anish Sikka (GMT), U-19 – Tanul Jindal (GMT). The Karate Champions (Weight Category Wise) were U-14 – from GMT Branch - Navdeep Singh, Bhanu Pratap, Hardik, Ayush and Aagam. In the U-17 category from GMT – Vansh, Nipun Bhagat, Gurtej Singh, Adil Bali, and from Loharan - Sharanjit Singh. The Best player in Basket Ball went to- Ashman Verma and Dikshant Pal, the Best Cricket player was Ishaan Kukreja, the Best Player of Volleyball went to Sukhpreet Singh and Prabhjeet Singh, the best exponent of Karate was Gurjot Singh (Loharan) and in Table Tennis Hardik was the Best Player. The overall trophy was awarded to GMT on a point basis. On this occasion, Vice Principal-Ms. Sharmila Nakra, Examination Incharge-Ms. Gurvinder Kaur, Incharge Loharan-Ms. Shallu Sehgal, H.O.D. Sports Mr Sanjeev Bhardwaj and the full sports staff team were present. Director Principal-Mr. Dheeraj Banati praised the efforts of the staff and students and congratulated the winners.
