FICO’s 6th annual day celebrated
Ludhiana, October 8, 2019: Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization, popularly known as FICO turns six years old. Incepted on October 7, 2013 by a galaxy of 13 friends, is now a family of 1982 strong members & growing. On FICO’s 6th Annual Day Celebrated at FICO Secretariat Jaimal Road, Janta Nagar Ludhiana where Rajwinder Singh Tung Deputy Chief Engineer PSPCL was the Chief Guest on the occasion along with Shri Sandeep Wadhera PPS Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana was the guest of honour. Rajwinder Singh Tung Dy. Chief Engineer PSPCL speaking on the occasion said that No one is bound to succeed, unless he enjoys what he does. Regarding PSPCL, he said we have came so far in terms of technology, but lot needs to be done yet, he said PSPCL is working on minimal breakdown time model to be implemented in Ludhiana’s Industrial Areas & Focal Points, where recovery time would be minimum so that the industry may get uninterrupted power supply. Sandeep Wadhera PPS ACP Industrial Area, Ludhiana enlightened the members about the crimes carried away using mobile phones, computers and a network, he also shared some recent incidents with the members. He urged the members to keep on alpha-numeric passwords rather than simple passwords for their banking systems, accounting systems and mobile phones. He explained that taking care of few basic things can help preventing a crime to occur. He also urged members not to share their banking details, aadhar details, OTP’s with anyone else. Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO, shared the annual report of FICO, and discussed what FICO has achieved in the year passed by, and shared his vision for the upcoming year, he said industry needs to work on ZED Model with zero defect in their product. He further thanked the Government of India, for re-introducing the CLCSS (Credit Link Capital Subsidy Scheme) for MSME Sector retro-respectively from 01-04-2017 & Government of Punjab for exempting the Buses used by industry for transportation of its employees & E-Rickshaw, E-Loaders from Vehicle Registration Tax, on FICO’s recommendations. Jaswinder Singh Bhogal Head FICO’s Tractor Division, proposed the vote of thanks, and said today is the annual day celebrations, but annual general meeting of FICO will be planned with all its members, may be in month of December 2019 or January 2020.
