FDP on research methodology and data analysis

The event held at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar: Six-day Faculty Development Program on “Research Methodology & Data Analysis” at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar concluded successfully today in the presence of experts as resource persons on the subject of the program, from various top level institutions and universities of the region. The dignitaries were duly welcomed to the college by Mr Jaspal Singh Waraich, Joint Secretary Governing Council, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, Dr. Manohar Singh (FDP Convenor) and Prof Jasreen Kaur, Dean Academic Affairs. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra highlighted the vision behind organizing this program and appreciated the contingent of faculty members attending this program. Dr. Tarlok Singh Benipal, Dean, College Development Council, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar encouraged the efforts of the participating faculty members whilst also appreciating the role played by Principal Dr Samra for the faculty development initiatives. Prominent subject experts namely, Dr Ashish Arora Head, University School of Business GNDU Jalandhar and Dr Prabhat Mittal from Delhi University discussed Research based Data analysis techniques and case studies whilst Dr Anand Thakur from Central University, Tamil Nadu presented his views on the concept of Statistical Tools and their classifications in detail. Program Convener, Dr. Manohar Singh presented the formal vote of thanks and appreciated the support given by President Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr GS Samra along with the efforts of Dr Baldev Singh (Coordinator) and Prof. Sandeep Singh for structuring the events. The participating faculty members were duly awarded certificates to conclude the program. During the program, Dr. Daljit Kaur conducted the stage and the same was keenly observed by research scholars and staff members from various departments of the college.
