Fake Army job racket busted

Ferozepur, May 7, 2014: The CIA Staff, Ferozepur, has nabbed two persons, including an ex-Army man, with forged documents and fake appointment letters. They were allegedly duping people on the pretext of getting them recruited into the Army.

Kikkar Singh, Inspector, CI Staff said that following an input by Army Intelligence, the police had laid naka at Sher Shah Wali Chowk, Ferozepur Cantt where they nabbed Rajinder Singh, ex-Army man, resident of Village Naurang Ke Siyal, and his companion Upkar Singh, resident of Village Bhambha Vattu and found number of forged documents and fake appointment letters in their bag.

When asked strictly, they admitted that they were allegedly involved in a fake Army Job racket along with their third accomplice Jarnail Singh, who is presently appointed in the Army at Jalandhar. They used to enlace the aspirants of Army job and were charging in lakhs.

A case has been registered at Ferozepur Cantt police station and police have launched a hunt for the third accused.
