Ex-ITBP veterans’ Association meeting on Oct 24
Ludhiana, October 22, 2019: A get-together meeting of ex-ITBP veterans’ All India ex-ITBPF Personnel Welfare Association (AIEPWA) will be held at ITBP campus, Badhowal on October 24.

AIEPWA which celebrated its first anniversary on June 1, was registered on April 25,2018. Its’ a maiden initiative of a few retired ITBPF personnel and aims to unite the ex-ITBPF Himveers to work constructively in the welfare of their brethren, and their widows and dependents to ameliorate their well-being and status.

The Association is an only national-level organization of ITBPF ex-servicemen, which includes members of all ranks from all over India.

Besides its regular members, which include retired officers, SOs and ORs, Association also invites widows and dependents of deceased Himveers to join in meeting.

In meeting various welfare schemes of the department and govt of India, initiatives and achievements of Association will be discussed. The oldest members of association will also be honored during occasion.

ITBP Inspector General (retd.) M S Bhurji an AIEPWA president will preside over the meeting. Among others Mohinder Singh, Commandant (retd.), ITBP  who is also a renowned climber and mountaineer award winner will also attend the meeting .  Mr. Singh is also authored a book ‘Everest 1996' which tells a gripping story of 78-day first Indian ascent from North (Col), the hardest route to Everest.
