Dharamshala, November 26, 2019: “The constitution has an important role in better functioning of the country and society. The constitution is properly designed to fulfil the objectives. It is based on some principles which form the base of the country. It is used to run any state or country in a balanced manner”, said Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati while addressing the students on the occasion of Constitution Day at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Paprola JNV, near Dharamshala on Tuesday.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November. The Constitution of India was adopted on this day in 1949. “The Constituent Assembly had prepared our Constitution in 2 years, 11 months and 18 days. The Constitution of India came into force from 26 January 1950,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Paprola is playing an important role in the all-round development of the children and the students of the school are raising the name of their institute, not only in the state but also the country. He also gave instructions to the concerned departments for preparing the estimate for setting up an indoor stadium, boundary wall in the school and also to take appropriate steps for better drinking water facility for children.
Earlier, the Principal of the school, Sushma Goswami, presented the detailed information about the school's annual achievements and activities. On this occasion, SDM Chabbi Nanta, Principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Paprola, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Teacher of the school and officials of various departments were present.
