Ferozepur, January 23, 2013: District Body Building and Welfare Association, Ferozepur organised Ferozepur-Fazilka Body Building programme at
Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium, Feroapeur, in which Surinder Singh Baboo, vice president Cantonment Board was the chief guest.
In this contest, 53 body buildings participated from Ferozepur and Fazilka districts and the contest was organised in seven categories weight.
In the tough competition, Deepak Kumar from Zira in Ferozepur District stood first, who was honoured by the association with Platina Motorcycle. The second position was bagged by Harjeet Singh of Ferozepur.
Appreciating the initiative taken by the association, the chief guest announced the financial help of Rs.51,000.
While honouring the winners, the chief guest was accompanied by Prem Chand Dogra, World Champion and to make the programme a grand success, special contribution was provided by Parmod Saini, chairman, Ravipreet Singh vice chairman, Mahabir Singh, president, Vikram Dhillon, senior vice president, Teji vice president, Sandeep Kumar, Raj Sharma and Sunil Sharma, District Sports Officer.
