Dharamsala, March 15, 2013: The 61st All India Police Games are being organised by the Himachal Police at Dharamsala from March 18- 22.
Only 4 events namely volley ball, basket ball, hand ball and kabbadi , in the men’s section are being taken up.
As the weather is unpredictable these days in the area, the police high rank visited the local deity Indru Nag, who believes to be the controller of rain in the vicinity.
The Cricketing leaders also used to do the similar activity during IPL or other important events like ODI.
The games shall be opened by Governor of Himachal and and CM Vir bhadra will be the chief guest on closing ceremony.
About 1,700 player of 98 teams of 29 states and para -military organisations are participating.
