PUNJAB GOVERNMENT AND ADMINISTRATION STAND WITH THE FAMILY- DC, AND CP
Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pradeep Kumar Agrawal and Commissioner of Police (CP) RN Dhoke on March 21 met the family members of Balbir Chand, one of the hostages killed in Iraq. Balbir Chand was resident of Selkiana village of the district.
DC Pradeep Kumar Agrawal and CP RN Dhoke told the family that Punjab Government has deputed them to visit the family personally to show the solidarity with them and to share their grief in the time of crisis. They assured fulsome support and cooperation to the family members and all possible help in the future too. They also prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the family member for bearing this huge loss.
Balbir Chand had gone to Mosul in 2010 and has not contacted his family since 2014.
