Ludhiana, July 9, 2018: Ar Sanjay Goel, Chairman, IIA Punjab Chapter, who is a vigilant citizen too, has sent, an interesting photograph of entry to Kakowal Road from National Highway No.1 passing through Ludhiana City.
In a sarcastic tone, he said, “Matters in PSPCL are really complicated like cables/wires visible in the photograph.”
Adding, he said yesterday’s incident at New Punjab Bagh on the Tibba Road in Ludhiana seems to be very much serious error of labourers who were dependent upon building owner. Building owner was dependent upon PSPCL and Building Inspectors/ATP for his own fault primarily, while the government officials perhaps never asked him to stop construction.
He opined that “in our opinion all under construction and already constructed buildings against rule under/ near HT wire must be dismantled as soon as possible for the safety of users only.
Presently, Ludhiana is many years back on maximum fronts to reach at level of normal city, he said.
It may be recalled here that three labourers were electrocuted at New Punjabi Bagh, Tibba Road, Ludhiana on Sunday. The tragic incident occurred when the trio were plastering the outer wall of a house. The deceased were identified as Satranjan Rai of UP, Rakesh of Bihar and Mukesh of UP.
