Jalandhar, November 5, 2014: On the second day of PTU Inter Zonal Youth Fest hosted by CT Group of Institutions, rocking bhangra performances and the presence of Star Comedian Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi enthralled the audience.

The Youth festival is dedicated to the Golden Era of Indian Science and Technology is ongoing at Shahpur Campus of CT Group of Institutions. The day included number of enchanting performances and events. The events were Skit, Mime, Bhangra, Indian Folk Dance, Light Vocal Indian (Solo), Debate, Elocution, Poem Recitation, Cartooning, Group Song Indian, Classical Vocal Solo, Clay Modelling, On the spot Painting, Collage Making, Still Photography, Mehndi and Poster Making.  In Bhangra, CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology team won the First place at PTU Inter Zonal Youth Fest.

Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi made the funny bones of audience tickle with his comedy moves and tricks. He stressed youth to retain the glory of Punjabi culture and advise them to come forward and showcase their talent by participating in youth festivals.

Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions), Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions), Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director, CT Institutions) and Harpreet Singh (Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) felicitated Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi for gracing the event with their presence. Other dignitaries including Dr. S.M. Kant (Advisor, Youth and Cultural Affairs, PTU), Dr. Rajneesh Sachdeva (Registrar, PTU) and Dr. M.S. Grewal (Principal, SUSCET) were also present at the event. Addressing the students Dr. Rajneesh Sachdeva (Registrar, PTU), PTU appreciated the efforts of CT Group of Institutions in organizing this three days PTU Youth Fest.

Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions), said he was deeply impressed by the talent exhibited by the young students. Students must focus on their career, hard work, honesty, creativity and dedication and also on time management so that they successfully manage their field and bring laurels to their college and family, he added.

Pakistan’s Hockey team too enjoys the Bhangra performances

Pakistan’s Hockey team was also gathered at the second day of PTU Inter Zonal Youth Fest hosted by CT Group of Institutions. The players enjoyed the Bhangra performances and also appreciate the efforts of the students. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions), Tanika Channi and Seerat Channi felicitated the players for gracing the event with their presence.
