Ludhiana, November 5, 2014: Gurpurab was celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev in BCM School, Dugri, Ludhiana. A special morning assembly was dedicated to the occasion where the students sang Shabads and recited prayers.
The School Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi wished a happy festival to one and all. She advised the students to follow the principles of the holy Guru and cultivate values of humanity.
A program was organised for Classes 8 to 10, where light was thrown on the life of the Sikh Guru. This festival, special to the Sikh community, marked the day with harmony and peace.
