Ludhiana, May 17, 2016: A few unidentified armed persons assaulted on the cavalcade of Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale near here this late evening, resulting to which one of the supporters succumbed to the injuries in the attack.
The injured has been identified as Bhupinder Singh Dhakki Sahibwale.
Dhadrianwale is stated to be safe.
The cavalcade was on its way to Issewal village when it was assaulted.
The assailants managed to flee in a car.
