No Shortage Of Funds For Development Works - Dr Charanjit Singh Atwal

Ludhiana, April 5, 2016: Punjab Vidhan Sabha speaker Dr Charanjit Singh Atwal said that there is no shortage of funds with the Punjab government when it comes to carrying development works in the state. Dr Atwal said this while distributing cheques worth lakhs in several villages of Payal constituency, here today.
Dr Atwal said that the financial position of Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janta Party led Punjab government is sound and that is why, development works worth thousands of crores have been carried out in the state and several are in pipeline. He said that the SAD-BJP led state government had contested and won the 2012 Vidhan Sabha elections for the second time in row because people had reposed their faith in them. He said that the real era of development for Punjab had begun from the year 2007 onwards, which would continue for several years to come.
Dr Charanjit Singh Atwal said that some political parties are involved in malicious and false propaganda about the state's fiscal health, but the Punjabis would never fall prey to such politicians whose only aim is to grab power by using all kinds of unfair means.
Today, Dr Atwal distributed cheques worth lakhs for development works at villages Jhalla, Ghudani Khurd, Ghaloti, Rara Sahib, Ghudani Kalan, Bhadewal, Jargari and Mangewal.
