MP Bansal awarded 'Emerirus Fellowship' by UGC
Chandigarh, February 18, 2015: Dr.M.P.Bansal, who superannuated of the Department of Biophysics have been awarded
"Emeritus Fellowship" by the University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi for 2014-15, for two years. His work involved "Molecular mechanisms of experimental carcinogenesis and its modulation".
Hindi Department to organise K.K.Grover Declamation Contest on Feb 19
Department of Hindi, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh would organise K.K. Grover Declamation Contest at 9.30 AM and A.C. Bali Declamation Contest at 2 PM on February 19 in the Gandhi Bhawan Auditorium, PU.
PU Examination Branch notifies for additional examination in Hindi, English &Sanskrit (Elective) who passed Gradution form any Indian University
The Examination Branch of Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has notified that the students who have passed their graduation examination from any Indian University other than the PU, Chandigarh have been allowed to take additional examination in Hindi, English & Sanskrit (Elective) as has been done in case of Punjabi. The last date of submission of forms with normal fee of Rs. 1760 would be March 12 and with late fee of Rs. 1870 would be March 19. After March 19, no form will be entertained./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
