Jalandhar, July 6, 2015: The academic session 2015-16 opened today in Lyallpur Khalsa College. The occasion was marked by recitation of Sehaj Path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib in the College Gurudwara where the students, staff and President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur, sought blessings from the almighty.
On this occasion, Kirtan of the Holy Gurbani was recited by Bhai Bhupinder Singh, and Ragi Jatha. Addressing the present, the Principal of the college, Dr. GS Samra said that the institution aimed at holistic development of the students so as to develop them into a competent human resource for the country.
The occasion was marked by the presence of S. Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint Secretary and S. Jagdeep Singh Shergill members of the governing council along with many dignitaries from the region.
