`Bandanvar’ function courtesy Punjab Sahit Akademi on 30th June

To be dedicated to 2nd Death Anniversary of Ajmer Singh Aulakh Chandigarh, June 28, 2019: The ‘Bandanvar’ function under the banner of Punjab Kala Parishad would be held on 30th June, 2019 at 5 PM at the Punjab Kala Bhawan, Chandigarh. The function would be dedicated to the 2nd death anniversary of eminent litterateur Mr. Ajmer Singh Aulakh. Disclosing this, the President of Punjab Sahit Akademi Dr. Sarabjit Kaur Sohal said that the programme this year would be dedicated to the life and literary legacy of Ajmer Singh Aulakh. The occasion would be graced by Mrs. Manjit Aulakh (Actress and Wife of Mr. Ajmer Singh Aulakh) as the Chief Guest whereas Mr. Pritam Singh Rupal and Mr. Dilbagh Singh would be present as Special Guests. Eminent playwright and scholar Dr. Satish Kumar Verma would deliver the keynote address. On the occasion, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Kala Manch would showcase a documentary ‘Dharti Da Jaya-Ajmer Singh Aulakh’ and furthermore, the play titled ‘Jhana De Paani’ penned by Mr. Ajmer Singh Aulakh and directed by Ikattar Singh would be staged. It is worth mentioning that the ‘Bandanvar’ function is organized on the last day of every month at the Punjab Kala Bhawan.
