Professional training programme for paramedical staff organised at Manas Hospital

Ludhiana, January 21, 2019: A professional training programme for paramedical staff was organised at Manas Hospital, Gobind Nagar, Ludhiana on January 18 under the guidance of Dr Anshul Mahajan and Dr Akshit Mahajan, Consultant Psychiatrists of the hospital.
During this programme, practical exposure was given to hospital paramedical staff by a team of human resource development trainers. Role modelling sessions were provided on various topics such as professional etiquettes, smart communication skills, time management, responsibilities toward patients and caregivers handling tough situations, creating and maintain cordial/warm environment for patients, empathy and work/job stress management.
Dr Anshul Mahajan told that, caring and treating psychiatric patients and giving cosy environment to their caregivers already came with lot of stress and anxiety thus they expect empathy, compassion and friendly environment so that it would make them feel comfortable.
Dr Akshit Mahajan thanked the training team members and ensured that this training programme will prove beneficial in improving hospitality skills of their staff.
