Ludhiana, March 30, Jantantar Morcha Punjab Core Committee Member Gurwant Singh has said the social activist anna Hazare’s Jantantar Yatra would arrive here on April 1.
He told that the yatra would arrive here after passing through Amritsar and Jalandhar.
He told that Anna Hazare would also be accompanied among others by General (Retd) V.K. Singh.
He revealed that the Yatra would enter Ludhiana at 11 am on April 1 from Jalandhar Bypass where homage at the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar would be paid.
Then the yatra would pass through Clock Tower, Laxmi Cinema chowk, Subhani Building Chowk, Partap Chowk, Cheema Chowk, Bhagwan Chowk, Kwality Chowk and Shimlapuri. Later, a public meeting would be held in the UCPMA Hall from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Later, the Yatra would pass through the grain market area near Arora Palace, Pakhowal Road Sarbha Nagar Puli, Gadari Saheed Baba Bhan Singh Sunet Memorial. After paying homage to the martyr, the yarta would leave for Moga, he said.
