Amandeep Singh Buttar from Canada and Gurwinder Singh Riar from Australia paid a special visit to Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar, January 5, 2018: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is always noted for its distinguished alumnus gracing numerable posts in various departments all over the world. A former student of the PG Department of Mathematics, Amandeep Singh Buttar from Canada and Gurwinder Singh Riar from Australia paid a special visit to the college. Amandeep Singh Buttar is now serving as an educationist in the prestigious Relevant High School, British Columbia while Gurwinder Singh Riar is an established Businessman in Australia and both personalities recalled their memories associated with the college. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra duly welcomed the two guests and reiterated the college's unwavering support to its alumnus who has brought immense laurels to college in various fields all over the world which has also subsequently led to the college being recognized as the leading educational institute of North India. He also added that various accomplishments of the college staff and students would continue to build on the ‘Potential of Excellence’ award granted to the college by the University Grants Commission. Prof. Palwinder Singh Bolina, Former student Arminder Singh, Gurvinder Singh Cheema among others were also present on the occasion.
