Ludhiana, March 3, 2019: Despite of heavy rain a huge audience thronged at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan to enjoy the poetry of the legend poetesses from various parts of India. The mushaira 'Jashn-e-Sahir' was organized by Adeeb International and Sahir Cultural Academy jointly.
Dr.Kewal Dheer, Chairman of Adeeb International thanked the citizens of Ludhiana for their cooperation in completing 47 years of Jash-e-Sahir.
Dr.N.K.Sandhu elaborated about the event and introduced the poetesses.
Dr.Kavita Kirab, Sia Sachdev, Som Rupa Vishal, Ana Dehlvi, Mumtaz Naseem, Tajwar Sultana, Riafat Shaheen, Aleena Itrat, Hina Taemoori, Chandni Pandey, Pragya Vikas recited their patriotic poems to pay homage to martyrs of Pulwama attack and afterwards recited their ghazal.
Moin Shadab conducted the mushaira.
Lalit Berry, general secretary, Ashwani Jaitly, Subhash Jain, Neelam Khosla, Gifty Nanda were among those present.
