‘ Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawano ka’ – the theme logo of PU Youth Festivals

Chandigarh, September 1, 2018: Prof Raj Kumar , Vice Chancellor , Panjab University Chandigarh released the Theme Logo of PU Youth festivals, here today in the Principals Meeting held in the University. This year,all the Panjab Univesrity Youth Festivals will be dedicated to Indian Military Forces under the theme logo ‘ Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawano ka’. Prof Kumar said that there is lot of energy in our youth and we should use this energy for the development of the Nation. He expressed that the youth festivals are the best source to channelize the creativity of our young students. While welcoming, the Vice Chancellor, Dr Parvinder Singh, DCDC appreciated the efforts of the colleges for successful conduct of the these festivals and other recreational activities. Dr Nirmal Jaura Director Youth Welfare informed that twelve Zonal Youth Festivals will be organised in the various colleges of the university and the final Inter- Zonal Youth Festival will be held at Dasmesh Girls College, Badal Distt. Sri Muktsar Sahib. This University Festival will be inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor Dr Raj Kumar on Oct 30, 2018. Col G S Chadda Registrar, Principal Gurdeep Sharma, Dr S S Deol, Dr R K Mahajan, Dr Anita Kaushal, Dr I S Sandhu, Dr S S Sangha, Sh Vikram Nayar FDO, SVC Dr A S Aluwaila and Panjab University Senate and Syndicate members were also present in the occasion. The beautiful token of Punjabi Culture Phulkari and Pakhi was presented to the Vice Chancellor.
