Youth Akali Dal to release 1 year report card of poor performance of MCL

Ludhiana, January 31, 2019: The Youth Akali Dal will expose one year poor performance of Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana (MCL). This was announced by Youth Akali Dal district president Meetpal Singh Dugri during a function organised by former Minister Hira Singh Gabria. The senior party leader and former minister honoured Meetpal Singh Dugri on being appointed as district president of Youth Wing.

Speaking on the occasion, Meetpal Singh Dugri said that one year has been passed when Congress has taken charge of Municipal Corporation. Instead of starting new projects, the MC has stopped development projects started by previous Akali Dal- BJP Government. He said that in last one year, MC has failed and failed to start even a single development project.

Meetpal Singh Dugri said that the local bodies minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has proved failure and corruption has been increased under the nose of Minister.

Youth Akali Dal district President Meetpal Singh Dugri said that the MC has failed to provide even basic enmities in 95 wards of city and the even the congress councillors were ignored by MP, MLAs and Mayor. He challenged the MP, MLAs and Mayor to list any five projects started in last year for the development of city.

Meetpal Singh Dugri said that they will prepare one year report card of MC and will expose the government and MC in Lok Sabha elections.

On this occasion, Councillor Rakhwinder Singh Gabria, Satvir Dhindsa, Fateh Dugri, Kirat Ramgarhia, Simar Sachdeva, Jatin Bhatia and Prabhjot Singh were also present.
