World class Industrial Park to be setup near Lalru -Sukhbir Singh Badal

Lalru (SAS Nagar), October 13, 2014: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal announced that to bring industrial revolution in the state Punjab government is going to setup world class industrial park at Lalru that will create job avenues for thousands of unemployed youth besides giving further momentum to state’s economy.

Speaking to media persons after presiding over a meeting here Sukhbir Singh Badal said that SAD-BJP was leaving no stone unturned to bring industrial transformation in the state. He said they have already launched industrial policy to create healthy industrial environment which has wooed industrial giants. Adding further he said soon Punjab would witness massive investments as scores of world renowned business houses starting their ventures here.

He said that directions to identity the requisite land to develop world class industrial park at Lalru has already been given to authorities concerned with early finalisation of proceedings. He said the physical work on this project would be initiated soon.

When asked about local bodies elections in the state, Badal assured that these elections would be conducted well-in-time. On the issue of SAD’s support to INLD in Haryana, Deputy CM said this would not affect the ties and coalition dharma of SAD-BJP. He said that SAD-BJP government in Punjab would work day and night to fulfill the aspirations of Punjabis besides fulfilling the election promises.

Badal asserted that day was not far when Punjab would become leading and No. 1 state in the country since it was progressing by leaps and bounds. Amongst those present on the occasion included Media Advisor to Deputy CM Jangveer Singh, Deputy Commissioner Tejinder Pal Singh, SSP Inder Mohan Singh Bhatti and officers of various departments.
