Students during workshop on Research Methodology at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, March 25, 2015: The 10 day national workshop on Research Methodology ended today at Lyallpur Khalsa College. Organised by the PG department of Commerce of the College with the sponsorship of ICSSR, this workshop was exclusively for the PhD research scholars. The chief guest of the valedictory session was Dr Balwinder Singh Head Commerce Department Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar and Secretary All India Commerce Association.
Speaking on the occasion he said that quality research was still deficient in India as the researchers were not adequately aware of research methodology, and programmes like this could substantially add to the quality of research output.
\In his address principal Dr GS Samra said that the research was the need of the hour and the college was going to organise more of such workshop in future.
Presenting the vote of thanks Dr. RS Sandhu, Head commerce department said that over thirty participants from all over India participated in the workshop.
