Workshop on Internet of Things (IoT) Organised at GNE College

Ludhiana, February 6, 2019: One day workshop has been organized by the Department of Information Technology of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana at the Auditorium Seminar Hall of the Institute on Wednesday. This workshop on title “Internet of Things (IoT)” has been arranged to update the knowledge of B.Tech.(IT) students and Faculty Members of the Department. Mr.Kamal Panchal, Manager-Business Development and Mr.Ritesh Kumar from Aptron Solutions Pvt.Ltd., Noida had been invited as resource person for this workshop. Mr.Ritesh demonstrated the real time industry exposure & experiences about the IoT among the participants. Various carrier building opportunities using this domain were discussed during the workshop. Dr. Pankaj Bhambri, Course Coordinator of this Workshop shared that evolving disciplines are the required to be learned and practiced to match the industry needs. Dr. Sehijpal Singh, Principal of GNDEC expressed his views about the technological advancements. He asked the budding engineers to use their time effectively to learn the new advancements in mechanization. During valediction; Dr. Kiran Jyoti HOD (IT) and Faculty Coordinator of this workshop thanked the resource persons for contributing the useful instructions among the participants and informed that such kind of workshops through which the industry based exposure could be provided, will be arranged regularly by the department.
