Tanda Medical College student wins national prize

Dharamshala, February 8, 2019: Dr Garima, a second year post graduate student in the department of Pathology at Dr R P Government Medical college, Tanda has brought laurels to her institute and the state of Himachal Pradesh by bagging the first prize in poster presentation in the International CME in Pathology, Histopathology and Cytopathology held in Goa, India from 1st February to 3rd February 2019. This was stated by Dr. Bhanu Awasthi, Principal. Dr. RP Government Medical College, Tanda. Dr. Awasthi while congratulating Dr. Garima and the department of the pathology stated that it is a matter of pride for Dr R P Government Medical College to have achieved such distinction Dr. Garima had presented her paper on ‘Placental attachment to Foetal head-An extremely rare presentation and was adjudged the best amongst more than 100 participants from all over the country. Dr. Awasthi further added, “ such efforts by the students will not only motivate others in delivering their best, but also act as source of inspiration to future medical professionals.”
