White Coat Ceremony and Introduction Programme for MBBS Admission Batch-2018 held
Ludhiana, September 5, 2018: For the incoming fresh batch of MBBS 2018 students, the white coat ceremony and introduction programme was held today in Auditorium of College Campus (DMCH, Ludhana). Mr Binay K Jha, Chief Commissioner, Income tax Department was the chief guest. Also present on the occasion were Vice-President of DMCH Managing Society- Sh Amrit Nagpal, Secretary Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Dean Academis Dr Rajoo SIngh Chhina, Medical Supdts. Dr Sandeep Sharma and Dr Ashwani Chaudhary and Assistant Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal. The programme began with official address by Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina about the infrastructural development and state-of-art diagnostic and treatment facilities available in DMCH. It was stated that DMCH recently got 14th rank by Ministry of Human Resources and Development in their ranking of top private medical colleges The chief guest Mr Binay K Jha congratulated the fresh batch of MBBS students and exhorted them pursue their career with utmost dedication and sincerity. Secretary Sh Prem Kumar Gupta asked the fresh batch of MBBS students to take institution to the highest level of academic excellence Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, in his lecture, guided the students that they should be regular in their classes and should always keep their eyes and ear open to learn academic and clinical skills. DMCH is strictly a no-ragging institute and the tradition has been now continuing for the past so many years, said Dr Puri The programme also included introduction of faculty members and fresh students of MBBS Batch 2018 were also introduced in person by Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina. After the introduction ceremony, ‘white coat ceremony’ was held, in which parents of the respective students put white doctor’s coat on their wards. The whole scene exhibited a lot of nostalgia and emotion for both parents and their wards. Dr Sandeep Kaushal, Assistant Dean Academics, proposed a vote of thanks to the gathering of students and their parenst and assured them of providing a quality based education for the enhancement of their career in the field of medicine.
