WCK 2012: USA and Italy to fight for respectful departure

Gurdaspur/Chandigarh, December 9, 2012: The situation in the league matches has come to an interesting stage as two teams Pakistan and Iran secured their place in semi finals. At the same time two other strong teams are out of the race for semi final. These two teams namely USA and Italy would now play their all out game to get the satisfaction of respectful departure from World Cup.

Three matches would be played at Government College Stadium in Gurdaspur. First match of Pool C in men category would be played Italy and Sierra Leone under flood lights. Although Italy lost its chance to register a berth in semi final after having been defeated by Pakistan but it would fight to secure some respectful position in its Pool.

Teams of Pool D, USA and Kenya would take on each other in another match. Iran of this pool has already entered into semi final. USA would now fight for the second place in the pool, whereas Kenya is still lurching to open its account in this World Cup.

The only match in women category at Gurdaspur would be played between the teams of England and Turkmenistan. In this pool England is considered to be the strongest team which would try its best to retain the top position in the pool by beating Turkmenistan.
