The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore during the celebrations on the eve of Christmas at Punjab Raj Bhavan today on December 24. Students from different schools participated in the celebrations organised by Joyful Music Academy Chandigarh. Christmas Carols and puppet show were the main attraction of the day.

CHANDIGARH, DECEMBER 24, 2016: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Chandigarh, Mr.V.P.Singh Badnore extended his greetings to the people of Punjab and Chandigarh, on the joyous occasion of Christmas, the birthday of Jesus Christ.
In a message, on the eve of Christmas, the Governor said that India has shown the rest of the world how to live in peace and harmony, despite its multi-lingual and multi-cultural identity.
The Governor hoped that such occasions would help in strengthening the bonds of universal brotherhood and communal harmony besides inspiring the people to dedicate themselves in the services of the mankind to carve out a happy and prosperous society.
