Massive demonstration held in Ludhiana by Federal Bank Employees Union under banner of AIBEA

Ludhiana, July 26, 2016: A massive demonstration was held here by Federal Bank Employees Union under the banner of AIBEA in front of Federal Bank, Feroze Gandhi Market, Ludhiana. Leaders from Punjab Bank Employees Federation (Ludhiana Unit-Affiliated with AIBEA) also participated in the demonstration and assured their full support to the Federal Bank Employees in their struggle.

Federal Bank Employees are on agitation path over the following issues Honour Settlement; Conduct recruitment and Stop outsourcing.

Com. Ashok Malhan, Vice President, Punjab Bank Employees Federation (Ludhiana), Com. Vishal Thakkar, Asstt. Secretary, Federal Bank Employees Union and Com. Balwinder Singh, Vice Chairman, Federal Bank Employees Union addressed the gathering. While addressing, Com. Thakkar said that they will go on strike on 11th August 2016 at All India Level in support of their demands. The leaders stated that if the management of Federal Bank does not resolve the issues amicably, agitation will further be intensified.
