Chandigarh, December 19, 2016: Union minister and Punjab BJP president, Vijay Sampla today congratulated the Indian team and management for lifting the Junior Hockey World Cup. India defeated Beljiun 2-1 in the finals of the tournament held in Lucknow. Sampla said that by winning the World Cup after a span of 15 years the Indian junior hockey team has brought laurels to the country and expressed hope that this victory would inspire upcoming generations.
