Jalandhar, November 8, 2015: The young ones of Innokids – The Pre- Primary wing of the school of GMT, Loharan and Cantt.Jandiala Road on Saturday celebrated Diwali with great pomp and show. They started the celebration with the puja of goddess Lakshmi with their teachers. They were dressed up as Shri Ram, lakshman and Sita and presented a skit based on their lives. The campus was echoing with the sound of Jai Ram. They recited poems on Diwali like “Jagmag Jagmag Deep Jale Aayi Diwali Rey”. The teachers explained them why and how do we celebrate Diwali. The incharges of Innokids: Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur (GMT) Mrs. Neetika Kapoor (Cantt. Jandiala Road) Mrs. Alka (loharan) encouraged students to celebrate Green Diwali and gave them the tips to celebrate it. The kids promised the teachers that they will not burst crackers and celebrate noise free Diwali. The li’l ones of KG II made Rangoli and lit the earthern lamps and sang songs.
