Superstar Singer contestant Nishtha Sharma gets promoted to 10th Standard

13-year-old contestant Nishtha Sharma from Sultanpur, Lucknow has shocked the judges with the singing talent she possesses. The fellow contestant has paved her way to the top 16 and is now surprising everyone with her soulful voice. During an impromptu conversation with the judges, Nishtha Sharma revealed that she just passed her 10th standard by scoring a whopping 94.2% and that is not it, she was promoted to directly from 7th standard to 10th and made everyone proud.

Contestant Nishtha Sharma was brought in by Captain Sachin Valmiki. After her performance on the song ‘Pardesiya’, Judge Alka Yagnik commented, “Nishtha is ready for a recording. The performance she gave was fabulous”.

Nishtha revealed that her school principal recognised how talented she is and offered her to directly get promoted to 10th standard being the only student from the school. She is not only studying but excelling in her singing. With full confidence she gave her exams and made everyone proud.

Alka Yagnik complimented her by saying,” Many students neglect studies and focus on extra-curricular studies, but Nishtha is the one who focuses on studies as well as singing and excelled in both.”
