State Level MUDRA Promotion Camp will be held at Ludhiana on October 6

Ludhiana, September 28, 2017: Deputy Commissioner Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal said that the Ministry of Finance has decided to hold MUDRA Promotion Campaign, for which camps were being organized from 25th September to 17 October 2017 at fifty identified locations in different States. In Punjab, the said camp will be organized at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan auditorium, Ludhiana on 6th October 2017. The said camps will be organized by the District administration and coordinated by respective Mission Director of the State under the supervision of Chief Secretary of the State.

In order to have proper coordination for chalking out the strategies and to make the event a grand success, a meeting of all Zonal Heads of all banks working in Ludhiana was organized by Lead Bank and SLBC and Sh. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal IAS Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana chaired the meeting.

Every bank has to set up a stall in the Mudra Promotion Campaigns camps.

Mr. Agrawal said that the camps will have facilities on account opening, Aadhaar number and mobile number seeding with bank accounts, handholding for downloading of BHIM app, distribution and activation of Rupay cards, merchants on-boarding for various digital payment, promoting digital payments, under National Digital Payment Mission (NDPM), enrolment for social security schemes, namely, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, information on Mudra loan and Stand Up India loan, Aadhaar enrolment and Updation, agricultural credit etc. LDM S.
