Special assembly conducted to make children aware of deadly disease

As many as 50 students of CT Public School formulated a human chain to raise AIDS awareness through art and act of unity.

Jalandhar, December 1, 2017: World AIDS Day was observed by the students of CT Public School. A special assembly was conducted on the occasion in which the children were made aware of the deadly disease.

Students were told about the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV Infection and has taken the lives of 35 million people all over the world. They were further motivated to stand together in solidarity for those who succumbed to this disease.

The students were told about the AIDS Red Ribbon concept and that they should try to help those suffering, through moral support and donations. As many as 50 students formulated a human chain to raise AIDS awareness through art and an act of unity. Students raised the message of informing one and another against this disease, as they said that such programmes help in creating awareness on the disease and assist infected persons to lead a normal life.
