Bangalore, May 22, 2017: Canadian International School (CIS) Bangalore organized its Graduation Day on 19th May for its outgoing grade 12th batch. A total of 67 students graduated from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
Mrs. Hema Ravichander, a seasoned strategic HR Advisor with over 28years of experience was the Chief Guest at the ceremony where Mr. Vivas Nandakumar, alumni of CIS and Sr. Planning Director at Dentsu In, Ms. Shweta Sastri, Executive Director, CIS also addressed the occasion.
Expressing happiness ahead of the Graduation Day, Ms. Shweta Sastri, Executive Director, CIS said, "The day marks the amalgamation of a rigorous and action packed year filled with learning, networking, growth and career progress and signifies a step forward for our graduating students. I am positive that our students will carry their learning to their professional courses and enhance their workplaces with their accomplishment."
Canadian International School on Friday was a scene of festivities and happy faces and emotional moments with farewell parties, group photos, selfies, and celebrations adding to the mood. Family members exchanged notes of the success of their wards and immensely enjoyed the graduation ceremony.
The students of the graduating class have secured admissions to top schools around the world. Students will be proceeding to well-known schools like London School of Economics, University College London, University of Warwick, University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, McGill University in Canada, and Johns Hopkins University, Smith College, Boston University and more around the world.
