PAU INKS PACT FOR MUSHROOM PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY

Ludhiana, June 8, 2017: The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has entered into an agreement with Ms. Bandana Chhetri, VPO Theh, District Amritsar for the commercialization of mushroom processing and its value addition technology developed by the university. Ms Chhetri has been trained by PAU for cultivation and processing of mushrooms. She is already preparing mushroom based products like chips, candies, mushroom mayonnaise, and candy.

The MoA was signed by Dr Navtej Bains, Director of Research, on behalf of PAU and Ms Bandana Chhetri. Till today, PAU has executed 34 MoA’s with various firms for commercialization of crop hybrids, crop varieties, products and technologies across the country.
