Second Leg of Print Yatra to cover 1100 k.m

Ludhiana, September 2, 2014: Tomorrow the second leg of Print Yatra-2014 will be flagged of from Ludhiana to visit, Jagraon, Moga, Faridkot, Muktsar Sahib, Bathinda, Mandi Dabhwali, Sirsa, Hisar, Rohtak, Mansa, Barnala, Malerkotla and Mullanpur etc. Describing the motive behind the Print Yatra, Kamal Chopra said, it is mission for the complete networking for the 250,000 printers of India. While visiting various cities we are generating awareness about this trade, persuading the printers to form associations. During these visits we try to aware the printers about the various schemes launched by the Government of India, Ministry of MSME for the overall benefit of trade and industry.
During  first leg (30 & 31 August) this year, it was possible to create new associations viz. i) Yamunanagar Printers’ Association; ii) Kurukshetra Printers Association; iii) Samana Printers Association and iv) Dhuri Printers’ Association. Everywhere printers welcomed this novel idea of Offset Printers’ Association and assured their complete support for the ‘Print Yatra’.
For the third leg, starting on 6th September, for the first time we are visiting South India to cover the cities like, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Titupur, Karur, Pollachi, Erode, Salem and Sivakasi, Mr. Chopra added.
We are getting overwhelming response wherever we are visiting, sharing his views about Print Yatra, Parvesh Jagga added. He said Anoop Jain and Amarjot Arora were the other member of the team which covered the first leg.
