A delegation of FICO, Ludhiana meets Deputy CM, Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal in Chandigarh.
Ludhiana, December 5, 2014: Gurmeet Singh Kular President Federation of Industrial and Commercial organisations (FICO), Ludhiana along with Hira Singh Gabhria Chairman District Planning Board met Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab at Chandigarh regarding the burning issues related to industries in Punjab.
Delegates take up the issues related to unauthorised use of electricity, splitting up of power connection, VDS of PSPCL, change of category and advance power consumption deposit. It was also demand to reduce VAT from 6% to 2.5% on bicycle industry, abolish of revised advance consumption deposit imposed by PSPCL, abolish CLU & EDC for Industry, exempt industry from sewerage sharing charges, upgrade and improve infrastructure of focal points of Ludhiana and abolish four stages verification.
Kular said Badal assured to immediate pay attention to the issues and demands on priority basis to facilitate the industry. Badal also assured that a meeting with FICO would be conducted within week at Ludhiana.
