School Wing named in memory of Late R.K.Mayor on his death anniversary

Jalandhar, August 30, 2018: A philanthropist and educator par excellence Late Sh.R.K.Mayor, born in the renowned Family of Jalandhar. Noting his contributions in the sphere of education GGDSD Model School (run by Sh. Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha Regd, Punjab) has renamed its junior wing in his name as R.K.Mayor Junior Wing. On this occasion, the chief guest was Sh.I.S.Goswami (Working President of Sh.Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha) and Guest of Honour was Rotarian Sh.Surender Seth (Ex-District Governor of Rotary International and Ex - Managing Editor of Dainik Bhaskar). Late Sh.R.K.Mayor worked actively as a member of the Rotary Club and his benevolence helped many needy and disadvantaged persons during social activities. He had also served as a president of Arya School in his native village Noormahal. He gave his valuable contributions for about 30 years as a member of Managing Committee of Kanya Maha Vidyalya and also for Doaba College. Sh.R.K.Mayor completed his mortal journey on August 31, 2017 and left for heavenly abode at the feet of the Almighty. The honorable and memorable works done by him for society during his lifetime will keep him fresh in our memory forever. Such a rare jewel creates his aura forever.
