‘Informatica’ signs MoU with Lovely Professional University to provide Curriculum Support for B Tech Electives

Jalandhar: Lovely Professional University (LPU), a well-established, private educational group in India, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ‘Informatica’- the leader in Enterprise Cloud Data Management, to provide support for curriculum development and training. This MoU is a step towards the continuous pursuit of LPU to deliver academic excellence and international exposure to the latest in technology for its students. The MoU was signed by Mr. Krishna Narasimhan, Managing Director, India and Vice President, Global Customer Support, Informatica and LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal, at LPU campus in Jalandhar. As part of the MoU, LPU will add two electives on ‘Data Integration’ and ‘Data Quality’ to its third-year B Tech Computer Science Engineering Course. The course training material and curriculum will be developed and delivered by ‘Informatica’ through the Informatica University Training Program (IUTP). LPU students completing these electives may have the opportunity to intern with ‘Informatica’ in India, and may also be considered for full-time positions on completion of their degree course. Hiring will be as per Informatica’s requirements.
