Aam Aadmi Party gains more strength in Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a big boost in Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency, while Congress and Akali Dal Badal suffered a big setback here. On Thursday, Jagraon's current city council president Amarjit Singh Malwa, along with many current and former councillors, left Congress and joined the AAP.

Aam Aadmi Party gains more strength in Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency

Ludhiana/Chandigarh, May 2, 2024: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a big boost in Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency, while Congress and Akali Dal Badal suffered a big setback here. On Thursday, Jagraon's current city council president Amarjit Singh Malwa, along with many current and former councillors, left Congress and joined the AAP.

Many district level leaders of Akali Dal also joined AAP. All the leaders were formally inducted into the party by Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann who welcomed these leaders with the party's muffler. On this occasion, Jagraon MLA Sarabjit Kaur Manuke and chairman Amandeep Singh Mohie were also present. 

Amarjit Singh Malwa, President, Municipal Council Jagraon, Kanwarpal Singh, Senior Councillor (Congress), Jagjit Singh Jaggi, Councillor and Former President, Youth Congress Jagraon, Parminder Kaur, Councillor (Congress), Kavita Kakkar, Councillor, Karamjit Singh Kainth, Former Councillor, Shiromani Akali Dal, Vikramjit Singh Vicky Thind, General Secretary, Shiromani Akali Dal (Ludhiana), Dharminder Singh Dhaliwal, General Secretary, Youth Akali Dal (Ludhiana) joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Apart from them, Sanjeev Kakkar Sanju social worker, Vinay Kalyan Youth Congress leader, Gurpartap Singh Senior Youth Akali leader, Dinesh Kumar Senior District Vice President Akali Dal (Ludhiana), Praveen Khurana Pinni Senior Congress leader, Kulwinder Singh Kala former councilor, Sajan Malhotra Youth leader and Narinder Chaudhary former councilor (Ludhiana) also joined Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The Aam Aadmi Party also gained more ground in Ludhiana city. Here many former Municipal Corporation Ludhiana councillors of Akali Dal and Congress joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

After inducting all the leaders into the party, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party is continuously getting stronger in Punjab because people are very impressed with the public welfare works of the AAP government in the last two years. Aam Aadmi Party has the support of every section of Punjab. We will win this election by 13-0.

At the same time, the leaders who joined the party thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and said that they have decided to join the Aam Aadmi Party after being impressed by the works and policies of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. They said that we will work honestly and with complete dedication to ensure that the Aam Aadmi Party wins the Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat by a huge margin.
