DC Anindita Mitra and other officials, observed to minutes silence at Nawanshahr on Wednesday to pay tributes to Pakistan Children killed in terror attack.
Nawanshahr, December 17, 2014: District Administration SBS Nagar observed two minutes silence over the barbaric killings of School Children at Peshawar Army School in Pakistan.
Deputy Commissioner Anindia Mitra said that as a mark of solidarity with the parents of all the children, we, all the district officials, and district residents, condemned the coward act strongly. Terming it a heinous crime, she said that, "We express our condolences with the aggrieved families as a human being."
Others who took part in silence to pay heartfelt tributes to the innocent children, include SDM Nawanshahr Jiwan Jagjot, SDM Balachaur Jagjit Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr Dharampal, District Health Officer Dr Garja Singh and District Family Planning Officer Dr. Ramesh and many other officers.
