Sartaj Gill Reveals Grey Shades in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani

Zee TV's immensely popular prime time show EK Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani has been keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats with twists & turns galore. The show is all set to surprise its viewers yet again! The suave actor Sartaj Gill, who is making head turns with his power-packed performance as Rajbeer, is in for an image shift with his character turning grey.

After Rani's extravagant birthday celebration where she expressed her true feelings for Rajbeer, little did she know that she was only being set up for a letdown. With Rajbeer revealing his true colors and ulterior motives, Rani will be devastated. It will hurt her immensely to know that Rajbeer was only playing with her emotions to seek revenge. It turns out he always held her responsible for having had to spend his childhood in a hostel, away from his own family. So to get back at her, he gains her trust and makes Rani sign some documents, that will change her life forever. And Rani, who has just fallen in love with Rajbeer and harbours dreams of living happily ever after with him, will be relegated to being his bonded labor for years to come!

I played a positive character convincingly and got appreciation from all my fans. Now it's time for me to reveal new dimensions to my personality and shock the viewers. Portraying characters with shades of grey or complex layers, gives me an opportunity to let viewers experience different dimensions to me as an actor. Needless to say, it requires a lot of homework to play such a character convincingly. I'm hoping audiences will appreciate the twist and the new angle to the story."
