Sarbat Sehat Beema Yojna ensures good health for all: Dewan

Ludhiana,September 15, 2019: In order to provide free health facilities to poor people, Punjab Government has launched Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna (Health Insurance Scheme). PLIDB Chairman Pawan Dewan, during a medical check-up camp organised by Lifeline Hospital and Parshuram Association, said this is an initiative taken up by the government in order to improve the health status. Dewan said this scheme will provide poor people an opportunity to get examined at good hospitals totally free of cost. Also, Dewan said all this would not have been possible without the efforts of Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu. Dewan distributed Health Cards on this occasion. He appreciated the efforts of Dr.RS Maheshwari (Lifeline Hospital) and Rakesh Sharma (Head of Parshuram Foundation). Ashwini Garg(President Maharaja Agarsen Committee), Satwinder Jawaddi, Palwinder Taggar, Baljeet Ahuja,Dr.Karan Soni, Dr.Omkar, Bahadur S.Riyat, Dr.Gaurav Maheshwari, Dr.Vishal, Dr.Anuradha, Dr.Gautam, Dr.RK Mittal, Dev Raj, Deepak Sharma, Sohan S.Goga, Praveen Dang, Mani Kheeva, Sunny Kheeva, Azad Sharma were also present.
