Sankara Eye Hospital celebrates International Yoga day 2016

Ludhiana, June 21, 2016: Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana had celebrated the International Yoga Day today i.e. 21st June 2016. An hour-long programme from 7 am to 8 am held at Hospital premises. Over hundred people had registered and participated including their doctors, paramedical staff and other support staff. Dr.Asheesh Bajaj Chief Medical Administrator of Sankara Eye Hospital, said, ‘It is an initiative from the Prime Minister of India Shri Narinder Modi therefore all healthcare institutions must promote healthy lifestyle amongst their social and professional circle’.
The team from Everest Yoga Academy took the session and started upon practice that can offer all kinds of mental and physical health benefits like, improved flexibility, mental clarity and stress reduction. Sankara Eye Hospital will be initiating several sessions in the coming months as well, said Mr.Binny J Abraham-unit head of Sankara Eye Hospital.
